About Me

Hi, I’m Chelsea!

I’m a photographer, a hockey and football fan, a dog mom, and someone who genuinely loves people and the stories that make them who they are.

I currently work as a studio photographer while building my own photography business, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue creating something of my own. Photography has always been more than just taking pictures for me. It’s about the people in front of my camera, the moments they never want to forget, and the feeling they get when they see those moments come to life in a photograph.

While at in college, I had the opportunity to be the team photographer for the Men’s Hockey Club for five seasons. I also spent five seasons photographing weddings with Trident Productions, where my work contributed to four awards from WeddingWire and The Knot.

So, why photography?

Honestly, I love the reactions.

With sports, players would come up to me after a game asking, “Did you get my goal?” or “Did you get that big hit?” Being able to show them that moment and seeing their excitement never got old. It was the kind of excitement that made me realize just how powerful a photograph can be.

Weddings gave me that same feeling in a completely different way. Couples trust me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. A wedding day moves incredibly fast, and there are so many moments couples simply don’t get to see while they’re living them. I’ve had couples tell me they didn’t even remember certain moments from their wedding until they saw them in their gallery—and knowing I was able to preserve those memories for them is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

When I’m not behind my camera, you can usually find me planning my next trip, watching hockey or football, or at home cuddling with my dog. I’m naturally compassionate, a good listener, and someone who genuinely cares about making the people around me feel comfortable and taken care of.

That’s also how I approach photography.

I want you to feel like you can be yourself in front of my camera. Whether we’re chasing an exciting moment at a sporting event, celebrating your wedding day, or simply documenting a season of life, I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and confident that I’m paying attention to the moments that matter.

At the end of the day, that’s why I love what I do. I get to meet incredible people, tell their stories, and give them photographs that allow them to relive those moments for years to come.

And I think that’s pretty special.
